Thread: Black

Tail: Black Marabou with 6 to 8 strands of orange or black Krystal Flash

Body: Medium to light Orange chenille,

(A dubbing mix of Bright Blends Orange and Steelhead Orange egg yarn will also work)

Hackle: Black Saddle Hackle, palmered

In 2004, I hooked 22 fish using this fly: 17 steelhead, four chinook and one coho.
